A man already on parole has been arrested with what’s believed to be cocaine in his mouth. Grande Prairie Rural RCMP were on a routine patrol south of the city around 3 a.m. Saturday when the suspect was spotted walking south on 93rd Street near 42nd Avenue. As officers stopped to talk to him, they determined he was hiding the drugs.
29 year old Blake Dean Murphy has been charged with possession of a controlled substance and obstructing a peace officer. He remains in police custody and will appear in court Wednesday.
