Intersection downtown closed for long weekend

There will be even more traffic disruptions downtown this long weekend. The intersection at 99th Avenue and 101st Street by Revolution Place will be closed from Saturday through to Monday.

Detours will start at the 102nd Street intersection for those heading eastbound. They can use 101st or 97th Avenues instead.

Traffic on 99th Avenue will go back to one lane through downtown on Tuesday, with a flashing yellow light at 101st Street. That means proceed with caution after yielding to pedestrians and other vehicles in the intersection.

Elsewhere in the city, anyone who uses Resources Road northbound through downtown will need to take a detour Friday. From 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., 98 Street between 99th Avenue and 101st will be closed for repaving. Traffic will be detoured east.
