The first official day of fall isn’t until later in September but due to colder morning weather, the city of Grande Prairie is prepping their spray parks for the upcoming winter.
Starting tomorrow, crews will be on site at the Muskoseepi and Lions Park to prep the spray parks before the first major frost.
Facilities Maintenance Manager Mick Phillips explains they don’t want any equipment to freeze with water in the pipes because that could cause damage.
