Armed robbery at a Mac’s convenience store

RCMP are looking for a man who robbed a Mac’s convenience store in Grande Prairie. The incident happened on Sunday August 21st at around 2:50 am. Police say that a man entered the store on 84th Avenue holding what was believed to be a knife and then demanded cash.

The employee was not hurt but the man did make off with an undisclosed amount of cash, lottery tickets and cigarettes.

Officers say the man is between the age of 40 and 50 with a brown beard, blue eyes and curly hair. He also had a scar on his face and at the time of the robbery was wearing a checkered jacket, khaki pants and a hoodie under his jacket.
