Arrest made in TD Bank robbery

Public tips have helped RCMP arrest a suspect in connection with a bank robbery in Grande Prairie. On Sunday, August 14th, a man made off with an undisclosed amount of cash from the TD Canada Trust on West Side Drive.

50 year old Robert Leslie Gordon Walker of no fixed address has been charged with one count of robbery. He remains in police custody and is set to appear in court on Monday, August 29th.

RCMP have thanked the community for their help in the investigation. Information that came in after a request reportedly aided in identifying and finding Walker.
