City re-assessments continue in Swanavon and Avondale

Door-to-door assessments on properties in Swanavon and Avondale will be done over the next week. Assessors are taking photos in those neighbourhoods to update their files.

Assessments began in May and will extend into other neighbourhoods through out the rest of the summer. Anyone who comes to your door will have a City of Grande Prairie ID as well as business cards.

Any changes to your assessment won’t come into effect until 2017, meaning they won’t affect your 2016 tax bill.
