Accused drug dealer skips court date

A warrant has been issued for a man charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking earlier this month. The 32 year old from Duncan’s First Nation was previously wanted on outstanding warrants and was taken in custody during a traffic stop on August 5th.

While he was pulled over, Peace Regional RCMP found 12 morphine and 77 Oxycodone pills on him. He was released on bail but didn’t show up to his court date.

Anyone with information about this case or any other illegal drug use or prescription drug abuse is asked to contact police. The name of the wanted man and a photo and description has not been released.
