RCMP looking for suspects after Fox Creek woman suffers severe burns

Fox Creek RCMP are investigating an assault that put a woman in hospital with severe burns. Police say early in the morning on May 15, the woman was hijacked while getting into her vehicle in the Kaybob trailer court. Two suspects threatened her with a knife and forced her into the vehicle, and drove out of town. The suspects then set fire to the vehicle and pushed the woman into it, she suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns as a result and had to be treated at the U of A hospital. The two men were then picked up by a black dodge, leaving the woman stranded on the road. The suspects are described as Caucasian males in their early 20’s, about 5’8″. Both men were wearing hoodies at the time of the hijacking, one of which was green. If you have any information on the incident you are asked to contact the Fox Creek detachment (780-622-3740) or Crime Stoppers (1-800-222-8477).
