A person wanted for a sexual assault and interference dating back to 2005 is one of several arrested by Beaverlodge RCMP last week. With the help of the Grande Prairie Crime Reduction Unit, Police Dog Services, and the Grande Prairie Crime Analyst, a total of 56 warrants were executed on July 28th and 29th.
Authorities pool resources for these warrant round ups to try and find as many people with outstanding warrants as possible. Searches were done in the areas of Beaverlodge, Wembley, Hythe, Horse Lake First Nation and Valhalla Centre.
More than $8,200 in unpaid fines were also collected.
