Public invited to share views, ideas for a performing arts centre

Grande Prairie Live Theatre is hosting a public meeting on May 27th, to gauge interest in a regional Performing Arts and Multimedia Centre, and what people would like to see included in it. General Manager Wayne Ayling says the possibilities for a facility like this are endless.

“You have got live theatre, dance, multi media, local film making, education, conferences. Imagine being able to host a huge conference where you can have break out rooms in the same facility that can handle the size of the conference.”

Ayling says it is crucial that representatives from those different areas attend the meeting, set for 7:30pm on the 27th at Second Street Theatre.
