Grande Prairie Fire crews attended a fire this morning on 97th Street and 113th Avenue. Acting Platoon Chief Rob Martin says that they got the call around 6:30 this morning. They were investigating reports of smoke and when they got to the home, they found a fire in the basement.
There was no one home at the time and no injuries were reported.
The fire is under control and under investigation.
