Grande Prairie RCMP says it has suspects in the beating of two youth at a park Saturday.
A group of teens allegedly attackedĀ 12 year old Thomas Steidel and his friend, all while filming the attack.
It’s been called a “knockdown game”, a recent craze among teens where unsuspecting strangers are punched in the head, and videos are posted online.
However, Corporal Roy Kennedy says the attack, which fractured Steidel’s jaw, is anything but a game.
It’s being investigated as a serious assault, and officers are gathering evidence towards charges.
