Drysdale adds Infrastructure portfolio to his government duties

Interim Premier Dave Hancock has made some slight adjustments to his cabinet, which includes giving a second portfolio to Grande Prairie-Wapiti MLA Wayne Drysdale.

He is once again the Minister of Infrastructure, a job he held until last December when he was moved into Transportation, a position that he will also keep.

Drysdale says he is honoured that Premier Hancock has the confidence in him to handle both postings for the next few months.

“It is going to be a big job, but it will be good for us, and I am proud to continue to build Alberta because now with transportation and infrastructure, we know that we need schools and hospitals and roads and all kinds of infrastructure in Alberta.”

Meanwhile, Lethbridge-West MLA Greg Weadick has been sworn in as the new Municipal Affairs minister.
