The wildfire hazard for the area has gone up to moderate. Alberta Wildfire has increased the risk after recent sunny, dry and warm weather.
They say that everyone needs to do their part in making sure fires are not sparked with summer weather projected for the next few days.
Grande Prairie crews responded to one fire over the weekend that was started by farm equipment. It was turned over to the owner of the land.
There has been 64 fires so far this season in the Grande Prairie Forest Protection area.
