2016 brings a milestone for the Town of Spirit River and MD of Spirit River. Both are celebrating 100 years next month.
They are inviting people with ties to the community back for a celebration. The events will be held from August 5th to 7th in both Rycroft and Spirit River.
Parades and soap box derby are some of the entertainment happening throughout the weekend.
Among the celebrations, there will aslo be toonie breakfasts in both communities as well as vendors and local businesses providing meals at lunch.

There will be a banquet in both Rycroft and Spirit River on the Saturday but preregistration is required.
