GPRC names new head coach for soccer teams

Grande Prairie Regional Colleg has announced their new head coach for their men’s and women’s soccer teams. Chris Morgan will take on the position with ten years of experience under his belt.

Morgan coached for 8 years in Belfast in Northern Ireland with the Carryduff Colts Soccer Club. For the last two years, he has been a Learning Facilitator with the Alberta Soccer Association as well as Technical Director for Fort St. John Soccer Club.

The new head coach says he is looking forward to the season getting underway and representing Northern Ireland in Alberta.

The Women’s teams first home game will be against Concordia Thunder at 2:00 pm at Pomeroy Field on September 17th, 2016. The Men’s team will play at the same field at 4:00 pm.
