Grande Prairie RCMP have helped their counterparts in Faust lay charges against a man accused of threatening and assaulting his family members. Last Friday night, the 27 year old reportedly assaulted several people he knew at a home in Joussard, and was somehow shot in the skirmish.
It’s unknown whether he was shot on purpose, but the suspect was taken to hospital under police custody. His injuries were not life threatening.
Dallas Collin Ward of Red Earth Creek is facing several charges, including assault with a weapon, choking, and uttering threats. He’s also been charged with several other criminal offences connected to an incident back on July 4th. He’ll appear in High Prairie court on Monday.
