UPDATE: Amber Alert issued for child abducted from Calgary

UPDATE 2: Calgary Police Service have issued a correction on Marsman’s description. The five year old has blue eyes.

UPDATE: Marsman’s mother was found dead by police in their home on Panorama Hills on Monday evening.

An Amber Alert has been issued for a child abduction from Calgary. Five year old Taliyah Leigh Marsman is believed to have been taken by an unknown person from the 1000 block of Panamount Boulevard North West.

Taliyah is a mixed race girl with a slim build, brown curly hair, and brown eyes. What she was wearing at the time is unknown. Calgary Police say a vehicle previous of interest has been located, but the child is still missing.

If spotted, do not approach the suspect. Instead, contact the Calgary Police Service at 403-532-6237 or local police.
