Wanted man spotted at campsite near Whitecourt

A wanted man has been spotted in northern Alberta. A missing persons report was filed earlier this month for 39 year old William Ryan Nadeau, who was last seen at the Canadian Tire in Peace River on June 23rd. His family was concerned about his absence, as it’s not normal for him to be out of touch.

However, the St. Albert man reportedly went missing along with a truck, some money and some guns. An arrest warrant for theft-related crimes has since been issued. The truck was found abandoned near Whitecourt on July 8th, and a restricted firearm also missing from St. Albert was found at a nearby campsite. That’s where it’s believed Nadeau was seen running away from police.

He’s described as Caucasian, about 5’10” and 200 pounds. He has blue eyes and is bald, although recent sightings indicate he’s grown a long beard. If seen, contact police immediately.
