Possible delays during Canfor ditch cleaning

For about two weeks, work will be done on a Canfor drainage ditch which runs east of the intersection at 89th Avenue and 108th Street. IPAC Services Corporation has started work this week to improve stormwater flow from the Richmond Industrial Park.

There will not be any road closures but a speed reduction will be in place in the northbound lanes of 108th Street. The access to the Grande Prairie Disc Golf Club’s third and fourth holes may be impacted as well.

The city of Grande Prairie is asking residents to be careful in this area while the work is being done.
