A woman was sexually assaulted on a city trail Tuesday night. The attack reportedly happened around 7:30 p.m. near Tony Roma’s as she was running alone. The woman was not hurt.
RCMP say the victim was approached by an unknown man who ran off after sexually assaulting her. The suspect is described as 35 to 40 years old, with a dark to medium complexion, and short brown hair. He was wearing a black shirt and black pants at the time.
Police want residents to know about the incident in the hopes that someone may be able to help them find the person responsible. Anyone with information is asked to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
