Road rage incident prompts police response

Grande Prairie RCMP are investigating a road rage incident northeast of the city. Around 8 a.m. Monday, a man driving a green Chrysler Sebring stopped his car in front of another and got out on Range Road 55 between Highway 43 and Highway 670.

He started yelling at the person in that vehicle and tried to take a tool from their truck. The victim was able to get the tool back, and drove off, only to have the suspect follow them yelling and waving. The man eventually turned around and headed northbound on Highway 55.

He’s described as roughly six feet tall and 180 pounds. He had red or blonde facial hair and tattoos on his neck and arms. At the time he was wearing a black shirt, black toque and black jogging pants. He vehicle was an older model with four doors.

Anyone who witnessed any of what happened or has any information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
