UPDATE: Fairview water restrictions lifted

UPDATE: The Town of Fairview’s water supply can be used normally after the emergency alert was cancelled just before 9:00 am Thursday. The water plant is back up and running.

The Town of Fairview has issued an emergency alert due to a shortage in water. There has been mechanical issues and the treatment plant is unable to keep up with demand.

They are asking residents to limit their use to emergencies only until further notice. They add that the water is safe but they are unable to produce enough of it.
