Police are looking for a suspect in an armed robbery at a Peace River hotel. Two workers at the Best Western were confronted by a man with a knife around 11:50 p.m. Friday night.
RCMP say he left without stealing anything and may have fled in a vehicle parked in the westbound lane of Highway 2, just west of the train overpass. Anyone who may have seen a vehicle in that area is asked to contact the Peace Regional detachment.
The man involved is described as tall. He was wearing a black, waist length jacket, blue jeans with a lighter wash, a green sweatshirt with the hood up, a grey mask, and white running shoes.
Fortunately, neither of the hotel employees were hurt.
