Nolan Thiessen joins Curling Canada as consultant

Nolan Thiessen and Grande Prairie’s Carter Rycroft stepped away from competitive curling this spring, but it didn’t take Thiessen long to make his next move. Curling Canada has announced that the three-time Brier champion is joining the organization as a consultant.

Starting in July, he’ll be working with a team that is reviewing all of Curling Canada’s championships. Chief Executive Officer Katherine Henderson says his experience as a high-performance player makes him a natural fit.

Rycroft hasn’t ruled out getting back on the ice this season, but hasn’t made a decision yet.
