Truck crashes into second Grande Prairie barbershop

RCMP are investigating another case of a pickup truck crashing into a local hair salon. This time it was the Bello Stylez Barbershop on 100th Avenue that was smashed into early Wednesday morning.

The shop’s owner posted on 2day FM’s Facebook page that the truck had been reported stolen but nothing was taken from the business. It’s expected to be closed for the next couple of days and police say they’ll be releasing more information Thursday.

This is the second time in less than two weeks that a barbershop has been damaged by a vehicle. When the Grande Prairie Fire Department responded to a blaze at Tommy Gun’s on June 5th, they found a truck had crashed through the front of the building. The fire is being treated as arson.
