Highway 43 was closed down for a multiple vehicle collision yesterday afternoon. The collision had both directions closed for hours. STARS Air Ambulance was called to the scene at 5:32pm.
STARS confirmed that a woman around 50 years of age was airlifted to the QE II hospital in Grande Prairie.
