RCMP are on the hunt for a dangerous driver. 9-1-1 was called for a suspected impaired driver around 3 p.m. this afternoon.
An officer found the black Dodge 3500 pickup on Range Road 61 near Spirit River. The suspect turned around and drove at the police cruiser, hitting the Tahoe. The mountie got out of the vehicle and the suspect again drove at them.
RCMP is asking for the public help in finding the truck, which has the licence place VES 974. If you’ve seen it or know where it is, contact the local detachment or Crime Stoppers. Do not approach the vehicle or its driver.
