Suspected storage unit thieves arrested

Two men have been arrested for allegedly breaking into a storage unit this spring. More than $1,000 worth of tools and other items were stolen from the unit in April, but the owner caught the two suspects on security footage.

Thanks to tips from the public, 31 year old Nigel William Drapeau of Fort St. John was arrested on April 12th, and 48 year old James Sentner of Grande Prairie was arrested on May 5th. Both men have been charged with break and enter and theft under $5,000.

Local RCMP have thanked residents for all of the tips they sent in after photos of the thieves were released through the media.
