Work has begun on Range Road 63 for overlay work. The extension of 116th Street will have the construction from the Highway 43X to City Limits North going on until mid-June. The speed in this area has been reduced and traffic may experience minor delays.
In addition to the overlay work, there is bridge repairs continuing on a section of Township Road 740A of Highway 724. There will be single alternating lanes in that area. This project is also set to be complete by mid-June.
The County of Grande Prairie wants to advise residents to obye all signs, posted speed limits as well as use extreme caution in those areas.
