Parking impacted near Montrose Cultural Centre during construction

The South Montrose Concourse site will have construction begin on it soon. Preparation for the site has started and the area is now fenced off. This will mean some of the parking that was on the site will be impacted. The City of Grande Prairie says people using the Montrose Cultural Centre will be minimally affected.

There is still parking available northeast of the building and southwest of the construction site. The facility will also have the south door access closed off during construction that is set to continue into November 2016.

The new concourse will include things like a raised patio with decorative fencing, main square plaza and pedestrian promenade. Street furniture, light fixtures, trees and electrical outlets are also being added.
