Periodic closures expected on 68th Avenue next week

Starting next week, there will be more delays along 68th Avenue. There will be fifteen concrete girders placed on the supporting bridge structure and a crane will be in the area to assist with the movement. Every hour and a half there will be a complete closure of the section of road between Kateri Drive and 100th Street for fifteen minutes.

The process is expected to take from Monday June 6th until the Friday. During construction time, there will be flag persons and signs to help people take detours. There is also a 30 kilometre an hour speed limit in the area while construction continues throughout the summer.
