A winter storm alert has been issued for the eastern half of the M.D. of Greenview. This area is from DeBolt to Valleyview and includes Crooked Creek, Little Smoky and Sunset House.
The M.D. of Greenview says to watch for heavy snow conditions affecting the townships and range roads but the alert does not apply to provincial highways. They add that fallen branches or wires can cause power outages or dangerous driving conditions.
Any power outages can be reported to ATCO Electric at 1-800-668-5506.
