The Philip J Currie Dinosaur Museum is being recognized with an award for its structure and location. Placed next to one of the densest dinosaur bone beds, it has received a nod as one of the top ten of the biggest 2015/2016 museum openings in the world. The Conde Nast Traveler list has other museums join it from London and San Fransisco.
This is the only Canadian museum that has received the award and follows eight other awards it has received for things such as innovation, engineering and architecture.
Since the Dino museum opened their doors in September 2015, they have hit unprecedented attendance.
