Peace Wapiti School Division Principal wins award

Principal of the Clairmont Community School is being recognized with a 2015-2016 Distinguished Leadership Award. Peace Wapiti Public School Division’s Shawn O’Shea is one of 30 leaders across the province receiving the nod. Winners include any administrator or member of the Council for School Leadership who demonstrate excellence and are picked by a committee.

O’Shea says that he is humbled by the award. He will be recognized in Calgary on May 27th with a certificate.

This is his fifth year as Principal in Clairmont but he will be moving to the role of Principal Designate of the new Whispering Ridge Community School in the fall.
