Online school an option for Fort McMurray students

There is another school option for Fort McMurray students who were forced out of their homes due to fire. If parents choose not to enroll their children in community schools, there is Alberta Distance Learning Centres accepting online registrations.

ADLC have courses available for grades one through twelve. The course materials as well as teacher instruction will be provided for free of charge to help complete the remainder of the year for those affected by the wildfire in the northern city. The Assistant Superintendent Cam Oulton says there are over 400 students ready to enroll.

Any students that were already doing ADLC courses from Fort McMurray can also have their course materials replaced.

Students can register by going to the ADLC website.
