Overnight camping and day-use parks in the County set to open

County parks and campgrounds are set to open May 11th. Overnight camping and day-use will be available five different places in the County including Bear Lake Campground, Pipestone Creek Campground, Demmitt Campground, Hommy Campground, and Kleskun Hill Campground.

There are also parks that are strictly for day-use only. These include Old Bezanson Townsite Day-use park, Red Willow Day-Use Park, Saskatoon Mountain Day-use park, and Valhalla Park.

The County would also like to remind residents that there is a fire ban on until further notice. There will be no new burning permits issued until the ban is lifted. Use of propane appliances is allowed. You can find more up to date information on the County’s fire ban on their website.
