Grande Prairie has set yet another heat record. It reached 27.2 degrees in the 4:00 p.m. hour Tuesday, topping the previous May 3rd record of 25 degrees set in 1945.
A special weather statement remains in effect for the area, reminding residents to drink plenty of cool liquids and dress for the weather as we continue to have well above average temperatures.
A cold front is expected to pass through the area Wednesday, with a high of only 18 in the forecast.
