Fine Arts students now able to transfer to degree program from GPRC

The Grande Prairie Regional College and Alberta College of Art and Design have reached an agreement that will allow for Fine Arts students to reach their degree goals. Fine Arts students at GPRC are now able to transfer into ACAD’s degree programs.

GPRC President and CEO Don Gnatiuk met with ACAD President and CEO Dr. Daniel Doz to sign the agreement on April 27th, 2016. Gnatiuk says this will allow for GPRC Visual Arts and Design students to make that transfer over if they choose. He adds that this is a great example of how two institutions can work together to meet the needs of students.

Dr. Doz explains that the formal agreement puts the needs of Alberta students first and ACAD is happy to work with a team player like GPRC.

There are four schools within ACAD including School of Communication Design, School of Critical and Creative Studies, School of Visual Arts, and School of Craft and Emerging Media.
