The winner of the $1.4 million dream home is set to be announced Wednesday evening. The Dream Home Lottery is a fundraiser for the Rotary Club of Grande Prairie. This year they surpassed last year’s sales at 97.4% sold. This year they did print more tickets than last year hence they would have sold out if they printed the same amount.
The 50-50 winner will be announced on April 27th as well. The total sold this year is at $397,180 and the winner will take half of that. Last year’s winner was Donlea Holman taking half of $350,000. According to Raffle Manager Kevin Hilgers, this is the first time it has reached this amount. This also the first time the Cash Cow Calendar has sold out.
The winners will be chosen at the Dream Home in Taylor estates at 7:00pm.
