Advance polls for the Division 8 byelection will be open for four hours this weekend. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Valhalla Centre and La Glace area residents will be able to vote at the La Glace Arena.
There will be two candidates on the ballot: Andre Harpe and Karen Rosvold. In order to cast a ballot, voters will have to have proof of their name and home address.
Election day is May 2nd when polls will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Polling stations will again be at the La Glace Arena, Valhalla Viking Centre and the County Administration Building.
Former division 8 councillor Richard Harpe resigned in February after nearly 30 years with the County of Grande Prairie.
