The Grande Prairie Chamber and the Government of Alberta is hosting an open house to provide more information about the provincial budget announced earlier this month. Minister of Economic Development and Trade Deron Bilous will be in attendance as well as Minister of Energy Marg McCuaig-Boyd.
The post-budget open house comes after $165 million was announced to be invested in tax credits that are to encourage small and medium sized businesses. The budget also included $35 million to attract and support new businesses as well as look for regional development initiatives.
The ministers will provide information as well as answer questions afterward. One-on-one opportunities will be available as well.
The event is free of cost and will be held April 28th at Centre 2000 from 10:00am to 11:00am.
You can find the highlights from the Provincial Budget on the government’s website.
