A family in the Crooked Creek area woke up early this morning to find two men robbing their home. The suspects were wearing masks and took cash, leaving in the home owner’s vehicle around 3 a.m.
The vehicle was later found abandoned in Valleyview and a 39 year old male victim was taken to hospital for serious but non-life threatening injuries. He has since been released.
RCMP remind residents to keep their doors locked, even while at home, and to call police immediately if anyone tries to get inside without your permission. Anyone with information on the home invasion and robbery is asked to contact the Grande Prairie detachment or Crime Stoppers.
