County fire crews responded to a structure fire in Huallen early this morning. They were called to the three story building on Range Road 91 off of of Highway 43 around 8:45 a.m.
Firefighters from the La Glace and Dunes stations were first on the scene, along with members of the Beaverlodge and Wembley fire departments, who called for backup from the Town of Sexsmith. When they got there, smoke was coming out of the roof, but crews were able to bring the fire under control quickly.
Damage was limited and no injuries were reported. The cause is under investigation.
