The North Peace Navigators have finished their banner season with a Keystone Cup bronze medal. The Peace River hockey team beat the host Regina Capitals 5-4 Sunday.
The Navs were down by a goal with less than 30 seconds to go in the game when they pulled their goalie and tied it up with a goal from Parer Sharp. Dustin Long potted another in the third overtime to take the win. Long lead the team in points at the Western Canadian Junior B hockey championships with 14.
The victory follows their gold medal performance at provincials and their third straight North West Junior Hockey League title.
