It should come as no surprise that members of the St. Joe’s Celtics make up a good chunk of this year’s High School Football All-Star Game.
Six graduating grade 12 players have been named to the “North” Senior Bowl team, including quarterback Alexander Noel, runningback Taylor Rempel, and receiver Zachary Woodman. Offensive lineman Aaron Wales and linebackers Zachary Mann and Aiden Senft round out the squad.
The Celtics took silver in this year’s provincials, after winning the year before. The loss came after a 30 game winning streak. They’ll be joined by Tyson Mastrodimos of the Sexsmith Sabres for the May 23rd game in Edmonton.
