Police seeking van involved in two hit and runs

Grande Prairie RCMP are looking for a light-coloured van that was involved in two hit and runs late last month. Around 1:10 p.m.on March 24th, it suddenly reversed into a southbound truck that was in the adjacent lane on 100th Street near 97th Avenue. Extensive damage was done to the white truck but the van drove off.

Just a few minutes later, a similar van hit a woman walking in the crosswalk near Hollywood Video on 100th Street and 95th Avenue. Again, the van drove off and the pedestrian left in a silver car before officers arrived.

Anyone who witnessed any of these incidents or has any information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
