Crime spree suspect at large in western Alberta

Mounties are on the hunt for a man believed to be on a crime spree across western Alberta. Whitecourt sheriffs clocked a blue Ford Mustang going 193 km/hour at Highway 43 and Highway 32 North on Tuesday.

The suspect was also seen doing burnouts and stunting, speeding off going more than 150 km/h. RCMP tried to pull him over, but when he fled, they didn’t chase him out of public safety concerns.

The vehicle is a 2007 Ford Mustang GT stolen from Red Deer. Anyone with information that could help police is asked to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
