A new head coach has been named to the GPRC Wolves Women’s Volleyball team. In December 2015, Jaryn Ruether accepted the head coach position on an interim basis but has officiallly been announced to take it on as of today. She was part of the team back in 2007 to 2009 where she was named CCAA Volleyball Canadian athlete in her second year.
In her last year, GPRC named her the Female Athlete of the Year. She says she is excited about the opportunity to add to the program the Wolves already have. As interim coach, she lead this year’s team to a bronze medal and the team finished in second place in the North Division. The GPRC Atheletic Director Francois Fournier says that as a Wolves alumna, she knows the traditions and culture of being a member of the wolves and this will help her lead.
