The road ban in the County of Grande Prairie is going down to 50 per cent axle weight Saturday. The change is effective at 10 a.m. on the 26 for all gravel roads in the County.
All other roads are as posted. A 75 per cent road ban is already in effect 24 hours a day. During the spring thaw, these roads are especially vulnerable to damage, so weight restrictions are needed.
